Race Decision Coaching
for Cyclists
You already know what to do in races.
The problem is executing it in the 3 seconds that actually matter.
I help riders break down:
— hesitation
— missed moves
— positioning mistakes
— late decisions under pressure
by using post-race analysis and simple execution rules that actually hold up in race situations.

What This Actually Is
Most riders don’t lose races because they’re unfit.
They lose them in key moments:
They lose them in key moments:
- waiting too long to follow the move
- getting boxed in before the split
- hesitating when the race gets chaotic
- misreading what’s actually happening under pressure
After races, we break down:
1. what you thought was happening
2. what was actually happening
3. the repeated pattern that keeps costing you
Then we build one simple rule to test in the next race.

“If this rider goes, I go.”
“Top 10 wheels with 5km to go.”
“Move before the road narrows.”
The goal isn’t motivation.
It’s making better race decisions automatic.

Who I Am
I spent 10 years training and racing in high-pressure cycling environments.
Over time, I became obsessed with one thing:
why riders often know exactly what they should do… but fail to execute it once the race explodes.
Most coaching focuses on fitness.
I’m more interested in:
— hesitation
— race perception
— tactical timing
— decision-making under stress
because that’s often where races are actually decided.

FAQ
Is this mental coaching?
Not really. This is more about race decisions, hesitation patterns, and execution under pressure than mindset talks or motivation.
Do you analyze race footage?
Yes. If footage exists, we can break down positioning, reactions, timing, and key race moments together.
What if I already have a coach?
That’s completely fine. This doesn’t replace fitness coaching. It focuses on race behavior and decision-making.
Is this only for elite riders?
No. Most hesitation patterns show up across all levels — from amateur races to elite racing.
